​This site houses over 11,000 titles for your use to remix, remake, edit and share. Includes audio, image and video files, and considered one of the best site for ephemeral films.

​Pond5 is a stock footage company that has generously included a collection of accessible, high quality public domain footage, images, songs and more for free download. Be sure you've clicked on the public domain button to access the free stuff.

Mitch Martinez

​This more than generous director of photography offers up some stunning and FREE stock footage for your use. Whether it's animals, cityscapes or time lapse footage you are after,  you can find it here. You just need to fill out a request form and then you will receive a link. I have used some of his footage and the quality is outstanding.


​Freesound aims to create a huge collaborative database of audio snippets, samples and recordings released under Creative Commons licenses that allow their reuse. 


​Jamendo offers free music downloads for videos (be sure to read the broadcast rights). There is a massive selection and many genres. 

CC Mixter

CCmixter is a free site that allows users to remix, sample and re-use music. Don't forget to attribute!
